Implementating access tokens and refresh tokens on the frontend for the first time. It was hard but now it is making a lot of sense. I saved my tokens in local storage and not sure if that is the right to store them?

I worked as technical consultant with a digital marketing startup. For past nine months of my consultancy tenure, I helped them setup company servers, data-funnel pipelines, affiliate-offers pipelines, mail campaign pipelines.ย

During the tenure, I also helped them train new recruits. Until the time the recruits were properly trained, I managed the affiliates and advertisers on my own.

This was my first time working with a digital marketing company at this capacity. It was pleasure to learn about the world of marketing and networking.ย

Started working on a new project
๐ŸŽ‰ New project!! ๐Ÿ™Œ I've been squashing bugs and monitoring the last project (ecomm app migration) and today I joined a meeting to talk about the next project which seems quite complex but also super interesting....

๐Ÿ› In a nutshell, we'll be unifying three different brand's Shopify sites into a unified experience under an umbrella company. We'll be consolidating the ecommerce side of it while keeping each brand on it's on website but all sharing components and the same user experience.

๐ŸŽจ So this is about building "themable" website that can be configured to different brands and deploy to three different domains. Each will have different pages, products and even shopping carts but the base functionality and navigation will be shared.

๐Ÿง  Still have a lot of planning ahead but I'm already excited to be working on a project of this size!

Shipped an app
Migration of the ecomm app is done โœ… and deployed ๐Ÿš€ that was a hell of a ride, learned so many new stuff including migrating a pre-existing database (including users), auth, shopify, and making a bunch of third-party services work together.ย

This was the first time I had the lead on a project and it was so much fun ๐Ÿ™Œ despite the moments of absolute panic over the possibility of breaking the whole thing but me and my team mate figured it out ๐Ÿ’ช
